The South Jersey Women Authors Group offers a variety of fixed, roaming, virtual, and local regular, semi regular, and special events to help our ladies gain the resources, time, and inspiration needed to complete their works in a comfortable, convenient, time, place, and atmosphere. Here’s a calendar of our breakfasts, brunches, chats, write ins, and more!
First Wednesday of the Month Evening Write In – This night time write-in provides a quiet time to spark the month’s writing for ladies in the Burlington and Camden county area, with various meeting venues in Voorhees, Cherry Hill, Marlton, Moorestown, and Mount Laurel.
Second Monday of the Month Breakfast – This morning social is fixed in the Deptford area for local Gloucester county moms or retirees needing creative me time to kick start the writerly day.
Weekly and Monthly Chats – Coffee Time Romance welcomes the SJWA and all our friends near and far each month 9 p.m. est, either on the third or fourth Wednesday of the month. Muse It Up Publishing also welcomes SJWA members at the Muse Online Writers Conference Chat Room for their Marketing Seminars 7 p.m. Monday Nights. For a current schedule, visit our Yahoo Group.
Third Thursday of the Month Brunch – The quote Burlington Brunch Bunch meets at numerous locations in the Cherry Hill, Marlton, and Moorestown area in the afternoons for lively debates, inspirations, and food!
Friday Afternoon Write Ins – Southern Gloucester and Vineland area Ladies free in the afternoon on the third and/or fourth Fridays of the month are welcome to write and delight at the Novel Idea Bookstore in the Landis Marketplace. Do one or the other or both!
Weekend Luncheons – Camden and Gloucester Gals who tirelessly battle work and school during the week also sporadically dine on Saturdays or Sundays as career and kids permit!
Virtual Connections – Our Facebook page and Yahoo Mailing Group are available 24/7 to our local ladies and any South Jersey in Spirit members to post writerly tips, questions, humor, promotions, critiques, networking opportunities, and more.
Special Events – Since coming together in September 2012, various members of the SJWA have appeared at numerous events together or individually – including the Authors on the Green in Historic Smithville and several NJAN seminars and panels. In 2013 we hosted Mother’s Day and Father’s Day festivals at A Novel Idea in Vineland, and more large scale fairs and workshops are in the planning stages for the Fall and into 2014!

Our latest conversations and calendars can always be found on our Facebook Page and Yahoo Group, and many of us are often found speaking with the New Jersey Authors Network or South Jersey Writers Group. Please feel free to contact the NJAN as well for an excellent variety of writing programs- from general publishing information, writing tips, genre specific talks, and more. No venue is too small or iota of writing focus a waste!
